Another reason for the popularity of Viagra is that it has only mild side effects, which in most cases don’t require any medical treatment at all. Side effects observed in clinical trials include nausea, headache, blurred vision and photophobia (increased sensitiveness to light). Most of these symptoms disappear on their own. In very rare cases, reports of highly adverse effects of Viagra include heart attack, severe hypnotism, stroke and sudden hearing loss. Also it should not be used by patients who are using protease inhibitors for the treatment of HIV as the combination of both these drugs can cause severe side effects.
